Current state
The site includes a root-level ads.txt record supplied for this website to authorize Google as a direct seller. An ads.txt record is a public inventory authorization; it does not load advertising, set cookies, or track readers. This build contains no AdSense JavaScript, ad unit, affiliate link, sponsored article, analytics service, paid endorsement, or behavioral tracker.
Future advertising
If advertising code or ad units are added, they must be visually distinguishable from editorial content. Ads may not imitate navigation, download controls, safety notices, or article recommendations. Placement must not interrupt emergency or health-safety instructions or create accidental clicks.
Sponsorship and editorial control
A sponsor cannot purchase a conclusion, prepublication veto, favorable review, hidden link, or suppression of a correction. Sponsored material must be labeled at the beginning and explain the relationship. Product claims require appropriate evidence and may not imply endorsement by a government agency or governing body.
Audience and sensitive subjects
Advertising must not exploit injury, distress, body image, grief, minors, financial vulnerability, or pressure to advance in sport. We do not allow ads that promise guaranteed recruitment, scholarships, performance, recovery, income, or professional placement.
Accountability
Readers may challenge unclear commercial labeling through the corrections route. Privacy and cookie policies must be updated before advertising technology changes live data practices.
